About

Engineering Reads gathers new posts from 52 engineering newsletters and blogs into one quiet feed, so you can see what the people who build software are writing this week without opening fifty tabs.

How sources are picked

Each source is original writing by practitioners: engineers, engineering managers and the teams behind large systems. Every one was checked to have posted in the last 90 days. Curated link roundups, product changelogs and feeds that are mostly announcements were left out. The full list is on the sources page.

What you see of a post

The title, the author, the summary the publisher puts in their own feed, and a picture when the feed offers one. Nothing more: every post opens on its author’s site, where it was written and where it is read. Posts marked Paid are previews, and the full piece needs a subscription to that newsletter.

Saved posts

Saved posts are kept in your browser and never leave it. There are no accounts, and clearing your browser data clears them.

Ownership

Names, titles and images belong to their publishers. Engineering Reads is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them.
